------>fullAbstract=Subconjunctival abscess is a relatively rare cause of ocular infection. It is usually associated with predisposing factors such as previous trauma or surgery. We report a case of subconjunctival abscess in a 61-year-old woman with no known risk factors. The subconjunctival abscess resolved completely after surgical excision and treatment with topical ciprofloxacin. The final vision preserved 20/20.
