To the best of our knowledge, there is no published report of retroperitoneal liposarcoma that was previously treated and recurred during pregnancy. Our patient was diagnosed with a pelvic mass on ultrasound at 12-weeks~ gestation. The mass was found to be a retroperitonal, well-differentiated myxoid liposarcoma and was radically excised at the time of cesarean delivery at 36-weeks~ gestation. However, the tumor recurred soon and progressed rapidly, and the patient eventually died of the disease.
