------>fullAbstract=Fostering nurses~ organizational commitment is important. However, antecedents of commitment among Asian nurses may differ from those for native nurses in Western countries. The authors analyze organizational commitment and suggest that healthcare administrators become familiar with the differences between collectivist and individualistic cultural outlooks in order to help Asian nurses adapt to new environments more quickly and smoothly.
