------>fullAbstract=A 5 1/2-year-old boy revealed symmetric erythematous plaques on both arms and legs as well as in the face. Additionally, contractions of several digital joints were noted. We diagnosed a progressive symmetric erythrokeratoderma and initiated a topical therapy with tretinoin. Here we discuss the etiology, differential diagnoses, and therapeutic options of this rare disorder of keratinization.
