Thyrotoxic systolic heart failure is rarely diagnosed during life. Reports about thyrotoxicosis-related systolic heart failure have been diagnosed postmortem. However, antemortem diagnosis of this fatal disease has important clinical implications because if detected early, thyrotoxicosis-related systolic heart failure is reversible. Here is a report a patient with Graves~ disease, systolic heart failure, and deep jaundice, which resolved after the treatment of antithyroid drugs. ------>tmu_sno=None ------>sno=9492 ------>authors2=Kuo SH ------>authors3=Lee YT ------>authors4= ------>authors5= ------>authors6= ------>authors6_c=None ------>authors=Lee TM ------>delete_flag=0 ------>SCI_JNo=None ------>authors2_c=None ------>publish_area=None ------>updateTitle=Case report: reversible systolic heart failure and deep jaundice in hyperthyroidism. ------>language=2 ------>check_flag=None ------>submit_date=None ------>country=None ------>no=5 ------>patent_SDate=None ------>update_bywho=None ------>publish_year=1996 ------>submit_flag=None ------>publish_month=None |
